In-Character Information

Name: Ganondorf Dragmire
Game/Series: Legend of Zelda: I totally kidnap her for shit and giggles Ocarine of Time
Teacher/Student/Other: Teacher
Canon Point: Pre-Ocarina of Time
Age: Old, physically looks around his early 30's.
Grade Level/Class Taught/Job: This is a thing I have told a mod and if this modly thing I have asked is not doable, he will teach Magic. Actually even if the modly thing is yes, he will also teach Magic. Magic is cool. Cooler than bowties.
Dorm or Living Arrangement: Dorm

Personality:
"He was the leader of a band of thieves who invaded Hyrule in the hopes of establishing dominion over the Sacred Realm. He was known as a demon thief, an evil-magic wielder renowned for his ruthlessness..."

Ganondorf has matured greatly from his early years at the academy, from a comedic pest to someone that most people can't make heads or tails from. Is he just there as a sort of cosmic joke to prey on the easier to bother at school? Is he someone tormented about the powers he wields? Or is he simply a time bomb that might go off at the worst of moments...

Ganondorf didn't quite start off that way. A bully at his youth, growing up in the school gave him a unique perspective and perhaps granting him part of a soul that he otherwise never would have had. Yet the dark beast that hangs over his heart that is totally not Demise is constantly pounding on the door demanding to be let out. You might say that the years at Smash Academy have taught Ganondorf first and foremost...how to be painfully human. Yet if one were to go to Hyrule, Ganondorf is a force to be feared, and is a name associated with darkness and strife. The Gerudo are employed as thieves and assassins by many of the elite in Hyrule (secretly, of course) in tasks that the Sheikah cannot accomplish (or sometimes against them) and Ganondorf, being their leader, has quite a few tales told about him.

To rule a tribe of warrior women, one cannot be just kind and compassionate. In fact, he is rarely either. As the harsh sands of Gerudo shaped most of his personality, the women that surround him played a huge part of his youth; sometimes more than he would like to admit. He is proud and vain, traits he shares with a lot of the Gerudo a bit (okay, a lot) too much, and it has burned bridges over petty things far too many times. Due to his upbringing, Ganondorf actually places women much more importantly then men at anything, with himself being the exception (OF COURSE BECAUSE HE IS THE HEAD BOSS). Earning the Gerudo King's trust is something that isn't built in a day, and usually must begin either with showing your own strength and will or having similar interests to him; magic, fighting and combat skills are the disciplines he treasures the most. Most of his strongest connections in Smash Academy were not with people who walked the bright and sunshine lifestyle. Or well, for the most part anyway. There have been notable exceptions like Knuckles who were the exceptions to the rule, but that was also in part for him offering solace to the Gerudo on his own island. If there was one person Ganondorf would consider a best friend, he might just be it (with Char close second), but, you know, he won't. Publicly anyway.

While preferring to pull the strings himself as a puppet-master to an entire army, Ganondorf is much more the lone wolf than he lets on, having few people he will freely confide in. He is, regardless, a fantastic team player – when he's the leader. A good example of this was when he used to lead the football team, or when leading his minions and the Gerudo themselves. When under his command he can be quite brutal, but Ganondorf plays everyone's strengths to their full potential, trying to balance their difficulties with other teammates’ who can fill in that gap. It takes a lot of excellent judgment and leadership skill to be able to pull this off efficiently.

Despite his bulling past and the fact he was more or less the guy that enjoyed punching nerds for their lunch money, as he grew, Ganondorf learned to embrace knowledge; first secretly, sometimes even showing a bit of heart and reading stories to a few people he wouldn't call friends but acquaintances. If asked, he would claimed it simply amused him. Gradually it became an honest thirst for knowledge, perhaps a bit shadowed by the fact a lot of it was reading into things that could increase his own personal gain and the missions he wished to undertake, but he is a much more learned individual than you might think of him. Additionally, the Ganondorf of now has had a year of traveling behind his belt; this is the third time he has come to the school, this time the bitterness threatening to overtake him at any moment, the tension between Gerudo and the Hyrule seen as the greatest injustice.

What injustice? You may ask. Tiny, pointless ones at first like the simple fact he loathes those that spend most of their days going around doing nothing. He also has a special place of annoyance at royalty; coming from a land where he's seen many of his own sisters, warriors and daughters die due to the harsh sand, knowing that people live in perfect bliss, ignoring the plight of the lower class is a very touchy subject with him. The ire that has grown around Hyrule is a prime example of this; one could even consider it bitter jealousy on his part that the goddesses blessed them with the Triforce to be kept in a temple, the lands green and fertile while his people suffer every day just to survive, forced to work in the shadows and never properly thanked for their work. It is strange how some are surprised by how proper he is, considering a lot of Hyrule things of them as nothing but sand warriors. Having been trained from a young age by the two witches, Kotake and Koume, he was raised as a Warrior King from since he could walk – rather ironic considering how much he hates those that wear crowns. Just imagine Ganondorf as the Gerudo Pope Pimp and it will all make sense okay no that's terrible. You know, grass is always greener somewhere else, only with Ganondorf it takes on a very sinister turn, now, more than ever.

If talks don't work, then perhaps, he thinks as the creature continues to pace around in its cage, then he might as well take by force. He returns to Smash Academy both to regroup with people who he has growing interest in, reaffirm his alliances and then...well....

Things might take a little sour note. He's fully accepted by now that if he has to be that monster that conquers the others to make true justice rein, then he will be that man. After all, he was a chosen of the goddess.

Backstory:
Check out this wiki link.

Got that? Good. Now imagine that trampled all over like a useless piece of paper. Unlike his game counterpart, this Ganondorf was brought to Smash Academy as a younger age by the two witches who figured that he could learn valuable skills there. It gave him the skills to grow up to be a much more ruthless leader - like he was supposed to be. Encouraging his bully-like nature, Ganondorf flourished under the tutelage of Smash Academy in his earlier years.

The effect has been profound in the ripples of the time, whereas a Ganondorf of another path would have been thrust into politics and war at a much earlier age, this Ganondorf got in trouble and lost his precious shampoo bottles, experienced teenage crushes and loves, fooled around the lost and found, started his own band and yeah...it was decidedly different alright. The Ganondorf of here would argue he got the better deal in the end, in a world of technology the other could only dream of. For a while it even seemed like he would escape his ultimate fate when his mothers asked him to lead a rebellion against the school but found him cutting ties with them, having realized that certain people were just too precious for him. Not that he'd admit it, mind you. Even when they kidnapped Sami and threatened to turn her into an Iron Knuckle. Nope. Just going to save her so he could fight his own mothers and become King of the Gerudo Tribe. That's all it was, folks.

There was much ass kicking with a few people Ganondorf was glad to call friends, and while romances came and went during the next few years and his attitude became more subdued than a loud, obnoxious adult, the Gerudo grew as a person, even finding time to befriend small children and like them enough to care for them like his own. The events at Smash Academy changed him, and he almost seemed like he could become something much more than what a few others in the school knew he would become.

Fate, however, seemed to have a way of rearing its ugly head when it feels like doing so - and thus, perhaps, not as earlier as another version of high might have done so, Ganondorf slowly found himself spending more time in Hyrule and Gerudo Valley as time went on and less at the school. He was, after all the Gerudo King and the Wielder of the Triforce of Power. He left without much word for nearly a month, going into deep negotiations with the Hyrulian King, Zelda's father, into what could be done about his kingdom, hoping he would give them a place to stay that could be easier on the young children, but the negotiations failed. He returned, decidedly much more bitter than before, his goatee transformed into a full beard that he never did shave afterwards (especially after one Midna remarked it rather suited him.)

The bitterness only grew as time went on. Even opening his own bar wasn't enough to keep him at the school and wanderlust took over. Eventually he decided to leave the campus without telling anyone, a sort of journey where he decided to enhance his skills at everything he could get his hands on - magic, tools of war, technology. If the other Ganondorf was a man of mystical deep magic, he was still a medieval-like man with the tools of that time. Now imagine what some like this Ganondorf to wreck havoc on a Hyrule if he so desired...the knowledge he's gain has turned him even more deadly.

He came back once, for nearly a year. And again he left without much word, traveling in the hopes to make one last bid at an olive branch.

And it failed horribly once again.

This time there isn't much of a struggle in his mind. He returns to Smash Academy not to find answers, but allies. The questions that plagued him before seem much easier now; if he can claim Hyrule then the Gerudo who live on Chaos Island will be able to be brought there...

...and what to do about Nabooru. She still drives him mad. She is the wild card he simply can't predict, half the time wanting to choke her neck and dispose of her in a strange fear that whispers into his ears that she'll kill him one day, half wanting to just kneel down and ask for her hand in marriage for forgiveness for what he might do in the future...

But regardless of what happens, there is a dark cloud slowly forthcoming...it might just take a few months before other realize the storm that is brewing.

Anything Else?:
- Wields the Triforce of Power (tm) a magical piece of a legendary Hyrulian artifact which grants him nearly god-like powers.
- Ganondorf can play the organ, a skill which he picked up at the school. He is really good at it. He enjoys the organ for the deep sound it gives off.
- He has a lot of magic arsenal at his disposition. The Triforce of Power increases them even more. In the games he's even taken a sword to the stomach/face and lived to tell the tale.
- As with Brawl, he also has his pig form, however there is obviously no cut on his stomach due to Sages trying to kill him.
- He now has a horse in the stables.
- WHO LIKES THE THREAD OF THE GANON FORM? OH MAN IT MIGHT HAPPEN.
- He is Serious As Shit Now (tm)

In-Character 1st person sample:
[The video flickers on, and the face some might remember, others not know (and some would wish to forget entirely) briefly makes itself known. Ganondorf arches his eyebrows and looks annoyed into the camera. Well, not quite. Tired would be a better way to describe it. Tired and annoyed.]

Smash Academy. To you the months may have been rather short since I last left you, but it has been nearly a year for myself...

Yet it is quite a small amount of time for a Gerudo, I assure you.

[Where's the teasing smile? The threat of sexual education? He seems to have lost them, during that year. There is a grin, although it carries more weight than before.][Probably.] My tavern is still in operation, and I see some of you have been going during my absence. Unsurprising, considering this place likes to drown most of its misery in beer and drunken posts... [Oh. For a small second, that grin looked more like the Ganondorf some might know. It's gone rather quickly, however.]

I was given new duties for the remainder of this school year, and will be teaching mystical art courses. I expect those who attend to have some background in the arts. The first class will be this Friday.

PRIVATE TO NABOORU
I wish to speak with you. There is much we need to discuss.

[From his tone of voice, it doesn't sound like he'll take no for an answer.]

In-Character 3rd person sample:
There was much more bitterness than he cared to admit; not just for the country that he felt had ignored him, but now even the once cheerful lights of the school seemed dimmer as he passed by. He stroked his beard as he continued to walk, eyes darting back and forth to see what had changed. For some, it was only a few months. For him, the modern walls of this place had been something he hadn't set eyes on for the past year.

Alright. Perhaps some of that annoyance could be melted away, he realized, as he continued to walk. Perhaps superficially, true, a small break before the true storm he planned on unleashing, but still after the failed talks, the lunacy of this place felt almost relaxing and nostalgic.

Maybe if things had been different, he could perhaps have had a much simpler life...yet it was not the case. No, this time, he wasn't just here to ponder or question; he already had an answer and it was a simple word of three letters.

War.

The questions he was asking now was when, and who would come with him. There was much to do, and plan...

...and yet, he thought, as his walk had taken him outside and he neared that sauna that had been installed all that time ago, perhaps a few days of relaxation would be a good way to start out.

After all, who knew what time would bring soon...
